In a hydraulically driven mechanical equipment, fuel tank connected in series is one more cylinder-driven approach. Ordinary oil cylinder cushion structure is difficult to meet the oil cylinder series connection required buffer braking effect, therefore requires specially designed buffer structure. In this paper, the master cylinder and its associated hydraulic circuit two series of a type of gate shears connection for the research object, the establishment of relevant mathematical model to study the effect of cushioning cylinders in series, in order to design a dedicated buffer structure, improve braking performance tandem cylinder cushioning. The main research content is as follows.(1)Analyze the current existing problems of the hydraulic system's master cylinder cushion. According to the overall structure of the gate type shears, analyze the working principle of its hydraulic drive system,introduce the hydraulic cylinder buffer device, and the development of the buffer device.(2)According to the accumulator's return oil of the two master cylinders series connection, set up a mathematic model that the cylinders return hydraulic circuits. Analyze the effects of key parameters on the buffer; calculate the hydraulic cylinder's initial velocity near the front buffer.(3)Set up mathematical model of two cylinders cushions, the left cylinder and the right cylinder cushion respectively, including the derivation of a buffer head radial size, the simulation of buffer segment of velocity and acceleration, and the simulation of the cylinder pressure;analyze and calculate the buffer head shapes which satisfy the requirement of reduction.(4)According to meet the ideal profile of deceleration cushion performance, based on the accumulator volume 10 L, inflation pressure 6 MPa, liquid pressure 10 MPa, machine tool slide G = 1.8 tons in weight,design for manufacturing and can achieve approximate the actual deceleration cushioning cylinder surface. Simulate and analyze the buffer structure, investigate buffer effect when tool carriage weight, liquid pressure parameters change, draw a type gate type shears working drawing of main oil cylinder buffer. And use CFD to simulate and analyses flow field velocity and pressure contours.
