As an important component of the modern mechanical equipment,bearing can ensure the stable operation without lubricant,which is widely used in aviation,industry,agriculture,hydraulic power,electricity and other fields.The life and precision of the bearing are determined by the performance of friction and lubrication of the self-lubricating materials.Consequently,it is of practical significance to develop a set of bearing test bench to inspect the performance of self-lubricating materials.The self-lubricating bearing test bench which is used in the condition of both vacuum and normal temperature and its control system were developed.The stability and precision of the control system were improved greatly by using industrial computer and upper and lower control structure.Firstly,the structure and overall technical requirements of the self-lubricating bearing test bench were studied,and the overall plan was proposed.Then,the hardware scheme was developed,including structural design of the control system hardware and the selection of industrial computer,motion controller and sensors,the determination of servo drive and data acquisition card,and the electrical connection of the control system of the bearing test bench.In addition,the software scheme was developed,including the integrated design flowchart,the development of upper computer software based on the sunwayland forcecontrol configuration software,the lower computer software of TRIO motion controller was developed in the programming condition of Motion Perfect,and the communication module design of upper and lower computer based on the Modbus RTU.Finally,the test plan was determined in the existing experimental conditions,and the self-lubricating bearings were tested by the test bench.The experimental test data were analyzed and the rationality of control system of the test bench verified.This paper has been designed self-lubricating bearings test bench,it can performdetection experiments on self-lubricating bearingin normal temperature and vacuum,and it can accurately test the friction coefficient and wear resistance of bearing,so as to determine whether it meet the factory standards,the result can provides accurate information and help about whether bearing running smoothlyon the production line.
