In the current society,the quality and reliability of power supply has been taken into serious consideration by more and more people.Blackout or even short time power outages(<3 minutes)will also bring a lot of economic losses.In the power grid,80% of the faults occurred in the distribution line(feeder).Distributed feeder automation technology is adopted to reduce the power failure range,and reduce short cut time less than 3 seconds,so as to improve the reliability of the power supply.There are two problems in the distribution feeder automation need to be solved.One problem is the distribution doesn’t have a unified standard in terminal equipment.Feeder system contains a large number of terminal equipment which made by different manufacturers,they may have different configuration information between devices,and this condition cause problems in sharing information.The other problem is the distribution should have a reliable communication system.Communication system is the first premise of feeder automation,and only rely on communication to complete the data exchange and instruction transmissionIn this paper,following the basic requirement of distributed feeder automation,and according to the distribution terminal information model based on IEC61850,A distributed feeder automation communication system based on IEC61850 and XMPP(Messaging and Presence Protocol Extensible)is studied,The method of using XMPP to transmit IEC61850 information is proposed and the verification is carried out.The main work of this paper is:(1)The information model based on IEC61850 standard is established for the terminal equipment,and described by the configuration language of the substation,which solves the consistency of information model in a large number of terminal equipment.(2)A new model mapping method is studied,and a XMPP mapping system architecture is proposed.In the last,based on the open source program gloox achieved the mapping from IEC61850 to XMPP.(3)The experimental system is set up to verify the mapping method proposed in this paper,it is proved that the performance of XMPP meets the requirements of distributed feeder automation system.The achievement of this paper is that:A mapping method based on IEC61850 and XMPP is proposed,and the prototype of the distribution terminal is tested with the open source program gloox.
