IEC 61850 standard is applied in distribution automation system to establish standardized information model and standardized communication mapping,improve the interoperability between equipment,reduce the workload of communication configuration and installation and debugging.However,the mapping scheme published by IEC can't meet the requirements of fast and secure communication in distribution network.IEC has set up a working group to formulate the standards of XMPP mapping.As an instant messaging protocol with open source,XMPP has the characteristics of openness,extensibility,security and so on,which could meet the demand of distribution network communication.This paper studies an IEC 61850 communication mapping method based on XMPP and builds a test system to test the effectiveness and real-time performance of XMPP mapping.The research content including:(1)Analyzing the requirements of communication mapping of distribution automation system.This paper summarizes the communication structure and characteristics of distribution automation system,and analyses the deficiencies of communication security protection in distribution automation system at present.Aiming at the typical application scenarios of each function in distribution network,the information exchange objects,contents and communication performance requirements of each function are analyzed,and the communication mapping requirements of IEC 61850 application in distribution network are summarized.(2)Studying the XMPP communication mapping of distribution automation system.The XMPP communication data mapping and service mapping needed for distribution network information interaction are analyzed in accordance with the requirement of distribution network communication mapping.Put forward the configuration principle of XMPP server in distribution network.Based on the typical application scenario of distributed FA with high real-time requirement,XMPP mapping is applied to realize the communication.For distributed FA,the communication function requirement and performance requirement are analyzed,and the communication architecture of distributed FA application XMPP is proposed.The related services are configured for interactive data,and the functional service mapping is completed.In addition,the security mechanism of XMPP communication mapping is analyzed,which can ensure the confidentiality,integrity and authentication of intelligent terminal information interaction.(3)The validity and real-time performance of XMPP mapping are verified by building a test system.The XMPP server of the test system is Openfire,and the test program is developed based on Smack class library.The test includes functional test and transmission delay test.Functional test simulates the interactive model data,telemetry data and telecommunication data between STUs in distributed FA function,and verifies the validity of XMPP communication mapping in distributed FA.The effect of message size and security encryption on the real-time performance of XMPP transmission is tested by transmission delay test.Compared with the existing GOOSE over UDP scheme,the transmission delay based on XMPP scheme is larger than GOOSE over UDP scheme,but it can meet the requirements of regional slow distributed FA.The application of XMPP in distribution automation system can standardize the data communication,realize the security reinforcement of the information exchange in both vertical and horizontal directions,and provide a safe and effective communication mapping mode for the access of intelligent distribution terminals,distributed power monitoring terminals and other large number of intelligent terminals in the Internet of Things.
