At present the Chinese uranium resources are characterized by more mineralization types, small scale and shallow buried, and a large proportion of low-grade uranium ore for hard rock.The conditions of ore deposit and ore properties is changed, the corresponding treatment process are also different. Therefore we use a method of heap leaching mining mostly, acidic surface technology of heap leaching is the main technology of production. Although it has many advantages, but also have their own insurmountable defects, such as are greatly influenced by the external environment, it is difficult to balance and stable production like agitation leaching,what's more, the adaptability of heap leaching are limited. Especially for some high silt content of hard-rock ores, there are also a series of problems such as poor permeability, low leaching rate, long leaching cycle, limited production capacity,and low environmental benefits. So, The test is trying to use agitation leaching instead of heap leaching, improving the methods of solid-liquid separation. The test is to explore reasonable technique parameters and shorten the extraction time and increase the leaching rate of uranium.It will increase uranium resource recovery and economic benefit and provide the basis for the uranium deposits of uranium hydrometallurgy production line construction.Uranium ore studied in this paper is a high clay content of hard rock ore, ore through indoor test conditions, we analyzed the composition of the ore, agitation leaching conditions, and the test of solid-liquid separation, ion exchange and precipitation of the product, and also the test of field expansion to leaching uranium,and achieved satisfactory results.Research results are as follows:(1)The uranium ore by acid leaching method is suitable and has good leaching properties, the leaching rate of more than 95%.(2)Ore oxidation performance is good without adding an oxidizing agent, and low mineral acid consumption is about 3.5 percent, and the required of surplus acid islow, less than 5g / L.(3)When using particle ore leaching, the method would have a negative effect on solid-liquid separation, mainly in that Pulp fine particle segregation occurs in the input filter in the process, affect water quality.(4)Control the ore particle size, the use of membrane frame filter to realize solid-liquid separation and washing is feasible. Washing effect is good, more than99%; and slag tail water is low, less than 20 percent.(5) The experiment did not test for leaching process, but according to the previous existing research results, with ion exchange to collect uranium metal from leaching solution is feasible.
