With the rapid development of urban railway, increasing numbers of people choose urban railways as their ways of transportation in order to save time and to be safe. On one hand, it is helpful to deep development of urban railway. On the other hand, it is also an enormous pressure to present urban railway system. To relieve the crowdedness of many urban railway stations, an optimization is a must to be proposed. Based on the existing problems in this system, an evaluation of layout of facilities in urban stations is raised to evaluate the present situations, based on which, some suggestions of optimization could be put forward.Based on the characteristic of passenger flows and facilities in urban railway stations, study on layout of facilities in urban stations is raised. With the data acquired from different ways, the arrival characteristic of passenger flow is analyzed with method named "K-S" Meanwhile, facilities in stations are classified into three types:connection, service and waiting. Characteristic of passenger in different facilities are studied, and also is the flow line. Besides, the concept of co-relationship of facilities is raised and crowdedness of passengers in different facilities is used to define and describe it.According to the principle of selecting evaluating indictor and characteristic of passenger and facilities, proper evaluating indictors are chosen. Then they are normalized with the method of Delphi and fuzzy mathematics. At last, the weight of evaluating indictors is distributed with AHP, by which the evaluation system is established to evaluate the present station situations and offer effective suggestions.
