Design And Application Of Smart Home System Based On ARM

Smart home system is becoming more and more popular. Big companies such as Apple and Google have invested great human and financial resources in this area.In this paper, I have analyzed the functions, features and current situation of smart home system at home and abroad. And I have showed my opinion on the existing problems and development of smart home system. Meanwhile I have found the basic requirements of a typical smart home system. In the mean time, I have studied the structure and network organization method of it. I have selected a CPU STM32F405VG based on ARM and conducted the design of hardware, including CPU peripheral circuit, ethernet control circuit and extended circuit. Then I have fabricated the PCB board with Altium Designer. I have conducted the programming based on CPU with C language and done the programming on LCD with VisualTFT. And I have helped the software engineers in developing android and ios apps. Finally I have made the local and remote control of smart home system possible. At last, I have introduced two installing examples of our smart home control system, during which I have found out some shortcomings. I still have a lot to do in the future.At last, the smart home control system based on ARM can control the lights, air conditioners, curtains, air cleaners, plant walls, humidifiers both in local and remote ways. Thus realizing the intelligent of home.The Smart Home Control System I have designed has some innovation points. The system I have designed can control all the modules at the same time while products available now can control only one or limited modules. And it can be controlled in a lot of ways such as PC, mobile devices, PADs and touch screens. I prefer to use wired control rather than wireless control because it's more stable. And the interface looks beautiful and it's easy to use. Moreover, it costs low.Of course I have come up with a lot of problems, which I'm going to solve in the future.
