Sterilizer is one of the few appliances invented by the Chinese. It has achieved great development since born in 1988. As people's quality of life has improved, the sterilizer for tableware disinfection gradually comes into people's daily life, and has become an integral part of the kitchen. This paper focuses on the study of household embedded sterilizer, not only for analysis and design of its appearance, but also the simulation and optimization of its internal drying system. The main work in this paper is as follows:This paper describes the classification, the structure and the working principle of embedded sterilizer. Then the market situation and development direction sterilizer are analyzed. Ergonomic factors are analyzed from the perspective of "man, machine and environment". And the styling features are analyzed from the perspective of form, material and color. The design methods of Kansei Engineering are introduced, and it was used to Kansei measuring and Kansei analysis of sterilizer. We designed two different styles of sterilizer:"high-end & exquisite" and "fashionable & lively ". Each style has its feature, and the two styles are suitable for different consumer groups.The workflow of sterilizer drying system is described in the paper. The basic theory of fluid flow and heat transfer are introduced. The existing Siemens Sterilizer drying system is simulated analyzed. According to the simulation results, the problem of uneven temperature distribution can be seen. To solve the problem of sterilizer drying system, the heating tube and duct are redesigned respectively, and then the designs are simulated for verification.
