Building information modeling (BIM), being a transformative technology in the construction industry, will bring not only the change of design tools and models, but also a comprehensive range of information revolution on the delivery, the extraction and the use of information in the construction sector. The development of BIM technology needs the support of various specialized software, with the base of information sharing and exchanging being feasible to open data standards. IFC standard is internationally accepted data standard of BIM technology. Among various softwares, BIM is shared and exchanged by IFC. Promoting the collaboration therefore, between different professions in project of architecture engineering construction based on IFC standard, becomes the focus of BIM,. However, the existing IFC system cannot meet all participants' requirement for large amount of data of different fields within the whole project. Engineering data has high degree of dispersion and defective information exchange, which caused huge losses engineering. Faced with a large number of project participants and a variety of BIM software, how to share and exchange is critical to engineering information. The solution of this problem is to establish a series of criteria to define the actual workflow and the required interactive information clearly, which are named Information delivery Manual (IDM) and Model View Definition (MVD). This is also a guidance to extend the missing part of the existing IFC standard. This article aims to explore the information delivery method based on IFC standard, emphasizing information delivery methods design and data requirements define for the project stakeholders. Moreover, this paper tries to give the examples to demonstrate secondary development process that demand delivery of project stakeholders based on IFC, and to describe the standard definitions and framework design for the information delivery platform of project stakeholders. This paper mainly focuses on the following points::(1) Taking the stakeholders of BIM as the starting point, this paper tries to give detailed explanations of the four major domestic and foreign engineering BIM construction models. A BIM-based project puts forward for the interests of Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model stakeholders with application delivery model.(2) This paper describes the IFC standard and extended information delivery system. In the meanwhile, this paper analyzes the required delivery process and data delivery process of IFC-IDM-MVD system, based on which it describes a, IFC extended case example.(3) In this study, the C# programming language is chosen to program secondary development of Revit using Visual Studio 2015,giving an examples demonstrate on the steps and programming of secondary development process for stakeholder delivery information based on IFC.(4) On the basis of stakeholder analysis and IFC standards, this paper focuses on the standard definitions and framework design for the information delivery platform of project stakeholders describing the standard definitions and framework design for the information delivery platform of project stakeholders and establishing the information delivery platform of project stakeholders. This study puts forward an information delivery standard framework for IFC-IDM-MVD combination with the theory of project stakeholders and develops data interface based on Revit for IFC standard extension and information delivery standard. This paper affords reference for the preparation of National BIM standard, together with the design and software development of collaborative information management based on BIM. Finally, the paper aims to improve the development of China's construction industry on collaborative information management.
