Research On Data Standardization Of Information Requirement For Green Building Design

Both the green building and the BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology are two hot spots and future development directions of the construction industry, the two have many common concerns, such as the information during the whole building lifecycle, the maximum utilization efficiency of the resource and the energy, and the sustainable development. Therefore, the combination of green building and BIM can provide better support for construction industry.The planning and design stage is the key to determine the success of a green building project. The research object of this paper is the standardization for information requirement of green building design, which is an exploration and attempt for the research of theory and practice of green building information model at design stage. This paper studies the green building design from two aspects, i.e. information requirement identification and information requirement standardization, by means of relevant theories and methods of building information model.Firstly, this paper introduces the theory of green building design and BIM technology, analyzes the core concept of green building design, and proposes the feasibility of the application of BIM technology in green building design. Then it analyzes the interaction and sharing of building information. In order to deal with issues, such as data redundancy of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) standard, this paper puts forward applying IDM (Information Delivery Manual) standard to analyze business requirements of a particular project stage.Secondly, on the basis of analyzing the Green Building Evaluation Standard (GB/T 50378-2014) this paper studies the aspects that BIM can be applied in green building design process to meet the green building design evaluation logo, and extracts the terms that can be designed and analyzed with the help of BIM technology. Then this paper makes definition of information exchange processes and information requirements in green building design stage with the IDM method, and proposes a method to recognize information requirements of green building design using the text-based tuple template approach.Finally, this paper puts forward that information requirements in green building design process can be represented by IFC standard. By the mapping between the content of IFC standard and information requirements, and expanding information requirements which are not included in IFC standard based on IFC standard extension mechanism, So the coverage of IFC standard can be more comprehensive, and the development and application of IFC system in green building can be improved. The research can help promote the application of BIM technology in green building, achieve the combination of BIM technology and green building, and provide reference for the design and evaluation of green building.
