Research Of Security Space And Urban Design In Core Influenced Urban Realm Around City Rail Transit Station

With the rapid development of China's urbanization process, rail transit is becoming one of the main ways of modern urban public transport because of its large capacity and high rate of punctuality. As a newly "embedded" element of the city, rail station is usually crowded with large flow of people, and has complex space in the old urban area. As a result, within the Core Influenced Urban Realm of rail station, new challenges to the safety of the public space have been put forward by the comprehensive behavior of the passengers.It is an important part of urban safety design to improve the urban public space safety by working on the physical dimension of space and environment. Compared to the macro urban scale, the microscopic and specific public space is the main scale human experience and use in urban space. With the rapid development of urban rail transit system, the safety of the passengers' transfer behavior is directly related to its status and quality in the Core Influenced Urban Realm of rail station.The existing research on space safety is mainly focus on functional layout from the macro urban scale, which is difficult to meet the diverse space environment and safety requirements. This paper aiming at the rail station-- the new city public space, analyzed the phenomenon of space safety and explored the methods to improve the space safety, which is one of the important methods to Urban Regeneration in microscopic perspective, as well as a perspective need urgent attention from urban design under the new normal situation."Introduction", the main content of first chapter, introduced the background and related research of this article, and describes the origin of the study. As the urban design becomes more and more meticulous and more and more railway is plugged into city nowadays, there is a new term to research on-- the Core Influenced Urban Realm, put forward by the emerging issues. This paper would analyze the related factors of the Core Influenced Urban Realm according to interdisciplinary theory of safety discipline.“System building", the main content of Chapter II, explored the safety of the station referencing the methods for urban design on the basis of a clear concept of the Core Influenced Urban Realm, then studied method of Safety-oriented urban design. "Factor analysis", the main content of Chapter III, mainly focused on the Core Influenced Urban Realm as the key area, and classified the Core Influenced Urban Realm according to its different ways to connect with urban space. This chapter then analyzed on the safety issues and factors in the process of general comprehensive transfer behavior in three aspects of general traffic, traffic in peak time, and special traffic, and studied passengers' comprehensive transfer behavior, measures of the supervisors and physical elements of the Core Influenced Urban Realm according to the system of urban design."Strategy analysis", the main content of Chapter IV, studied the factors that influence safety of the Core Influenced Urban Realm, and proposed appropriate strategy to optimize and enhance space safety under the premise of summary on the system of urban safety design of the Core Influenced Urban Realm.Case verification", the main content of Chapter V, selected Daping Station of Chongqing Railway Line I as the research object, and studied the safety of its Core Influenced Urban Realm, then Proposed corresponding optimization. "Conclusions and prospect", the main content of Chapter IV, reviewed on the whole research, and summarized innovations and shortcomings, then made recommendations for further research.
