The Analysis Of Unmatched Use In Influenced Urban Realm Around City Rail Transit Station And Relevant Urban Design Refinement Strategies

In recent years, our urban development pattern has tremendous transformation, from the "rapid expansion" gradually to the "stock optimization".In the circumstance which a lot of new elements and trends emerge,optimizing and improving urban space,especially space which has been built in,is the necessary way to achieve higher quality city.As a efficiency,punctual,fast public transit, city rail transportation has being rapid developed at a number of citys in china.However, due to the different construction time between rail traffic and urban space,the implantation of rail station into the existing urban space causes a series of new behaviors and new phenomenons.It breaks the existing “behavior-space"matching relationship in urban space.These new behaviors(comprehensive connection behavior) lacking the necessary space to support, so the behaviors' quality is not high. And they inevitably affect the existing behaviors, producing a series of disorder use.From the perspective of refinement urban design, we define the concept of influencd urban realm around city rail transit station with walking distance as the standard.And we observe and analysis a special behavior called “unmatched use”in this realm to find some mechanism and pattern with the different behaviors. And put farward the urban design refinement strategy from the macro and micro level based on the “behavior-space”matching relationship.Finally,use the strategy to refine the influencd urban realm around Niujiaotuo rail transit station as example.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part of the thesis is " background research ". The city space is becoming more and more complicated and diversified, so the refinement urban design is inevitable. The research about " behavior-space / time" is an important way to refine the urban design. As a typical complex urban space, influencd urban realm around city rail transit station has a lot of “unmatched use”behaviors.Therefore, the research about " behavior-space / time" is quite necessary to optimize the special space and adjust the complex behavior.The second part of the thesis is "foundation research". The behavior in influencd urban realm around city rail transit station has been seprate in “matched use” and “unmatched use”. The behaviors' requiement in influencd urban realm need space elements and time to support at different levels.And the requirements and elemnts must be matching.Because of the station implantating in existing urban space,the influencd urban realm has much more “unmatched use”than others.so it worth to study.The survey methods and the way to value “unmatched use” are special.The third part of the thesis is " phenomenon research". Through the survey of “unmatched use”in more than ten different influencd urban realms,we find the common kinds of “unmatched use”.And we choose typical realms to research the mechanism and pattern of “unmatched use” deeply as the basis for the urban design refinement strategies.The fourth part of the thesis is "strategy research ". We establish the refinemnt urban design strategy system from different scale. Form the macro view,we guide the group behavior by adjusting the elements of the urban system to match relation between "behavior-space".From the micro view, we find the space which need optimizing through the “unmatched use” survey and combine the minimum behavior space to match the relationship between "behavior-space". Finally, we put forward a way to test the optimization results though the micro simulation platform.The fifth part in this thesis is” design example". We optimize the influencd urban realm around Niujiaotuo rail transit station based on the “unmatched use”.After the survey to find the “unmatched use”,we evaluate the value of each behavior.Then,we choose the right strategy to optimize the space from macro and micro way.Finally,we test the space after optimizing.
