After entering in 21 century, the key problems of china’s urban development have been gradually shifting from rapid expansion to stock optimization. In the new situation, to optimize and improve urban space, especially built environment, to fully develop the urban potential, to closely related the new elements and new trends that emerging from the urban have become the important and only way that must be passed to make the urban higher quality and better function.Under the background of Information Era, establishing the scientific link of people and urban space, in which behavior rule becomes the key factor, is the important way to make the process of urban design and renewal optimal more rational and microcosmic. Microscopic Pedestrian Simulation method establishes the comprehensive dynamic behavior rules in a part of urban space through simulating the behavior law with digital tools. Digital representing and analyzing relevant laws can explain the internal demand and motive mechanism of the development and changes in urban space fairly well.After that, the research define the urban space----Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station, in which the walking connection behavior of pedestrians affected by the rail transit station, from the perspective of urban design. Pedestrian adaptability is paid little attention in the evaluation study on adaptability at present. And Microscopic Pedestrian Simulation promotes the quantitative evaluation to support this part of the study.This paper takes the Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station as the object of study and focus on the Adaptability Evaluation Index System, studies the establishing of the Adaptability Evaluation Index System through a variety of methods, such as literature research, questionnaire inquiry, analog simulation, case application and so on, at last tests and applies the evaluation system in the actual case. The paper focuses on the following six aspects:①About “Origin of Research”, in the first chapter, under the premise of introducing the background and research trends, elaborated the research origin. The development of urban design becomes more sophisticated, and rail transit has been implanted into the urban space and many new problems emerge, which lead to putting forward the Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station as a new research angle, and introduce adaptability and microscopic pedestrian simulation tools to the study.②About “Analysis of Concepts”, in the second chapter, clear defined of Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station, analyzed the adaptability connotation of traffic, space, economy, pedestrians, for the establishment of the Adaptability Evaluation Index System to lay the foundation.③About “Analysis of Characteristic”, in the third chapter, determined the micro behavior scale as the research focus, and analyzed the pedestrian behavior characteristics in the micro scale, especially the Self-organization Phenomena. After that, explored the simulation requirements of the pedestrian behavior in micro scale, and screened the pedestrian behavior parameters. At last, choose appropriate simulation model and simulation software to suit the simulation requirements, test the simulation results and summarize the method of microscopic pedestrian simulation.④ About “Construction of System”, in the fourth chapter, preliminarily constructed the Adaptability Evaluation Index System of Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station based on the principle of structuring. Test, screen, and quantitate the evaluating Indices and determine the evaluation criterion by comprehensive using the method of reliability and validity testing, Fuzzy-Delphi, data normalization.⑤About “Test of Case”, in the fifth chapter, selected The Yuzhong Peninsula region as the scope of the study, and delimited the Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station that in the scope. Then, chose and evaluated the typical Influenced Urban Realm through analysis and classification. After that, described the specific evaluation process and method and puts forward the optimized proposal in view of the shortcomings to test the practicability of the Adaptability Evaluation Index System.⑥About “Application of Case”, in the sixth chapter, choose the urban rail transit station which not finished----Shazhengjie Station, that belong to Chongqing urban rail transit loop line, as subject investigated. Throw out a suggestion of design scheme selection and optimization through analysis and comparison the evaluation results of the three schemes.With facing the new problem in urban space that caused by rail transit, Influenced Urban Realm around Rail Transit Station become the new research angle, microscopic pedestrian simulation tools push digital tools of urban design update and integrate the Adaptability Evaluation Index System. As a kind of method, the study is a bold exploration of research on urban space, and as a kind of tool, it may be help the future study of urban design.
