The green landscape of urban often ignore demand of human survivals with the development of urban construction. The large scaled landscape resources had been developmented lead to break the link with the past. The development of contemporary urban is moving from an industrial society-led city to leisure-led living cities. An evaluation should not only concern the pace of development in the city, but should pay more attention to quality of life of urban and happiness index of people. But,nowadays,a few of landscape design frequently could not meet the demand of persons, because of lacking the kind scale and pleasure atmosphere, so fail to achieve the desired goals. At last, the lost space in the urban landscape formed. The paper optimizes the use of methods, strategy and principles of the lost space at the angle of landscape design.By on the environment, resources and culture of the lost space surrounding integration and use of it by modern means,so as to study more new landscape resources and then re-existing the lost space. The thesis based on theoretical and empirical cognition,by practical investigation and analogy analysis of a large number of examples as basis.Firstly, introduces the characteristics of the lost space and summary of the reasons for the formation of the lost space.Secondly, summarizes the theoretical for the optimization and utilization of the lost space.Lastly, the paper based on the theoretical basis, the design elements and the design principles of optimization and utilization are put forward. Then, combined with the actual case to explain the restoration of landscape vitality and reshape the landscape space. The lost space is effectively utilized after optimization and utilization.According to the analysis of problems to solve the problems interpretation of the logical deduction process framework text.
