Study On Road System Planning In Small And Mediumsized Cities

At present, small and medium-sized cities are playing a very important role in the regional economic development. Under the guidance of macro policy of "small towns, big strategies", the construction scale of small and medium-sized cities expands unceasingly. Stream of people, logistics, information flow concentrate into small and medium-sized cities, and form the accumulative effect. With the agglomeration and diffusion of people and logistics, small and medium-sized cities development more and more depend on the traffic system, and the contradiction between them will become more acute. How to ensure the coordination between urban land planning and traffic system planning in small and medium-sized cites, how to ensure the safety, clear, efficiency, convenience, and coordination with the environment of the transportation system. They are urgent problems in traffic system of small and medium-sized cities However, long-term since, small and medium-sized urban planning treat land use planning as the core in our country. Traffic planning and road system planning are often treated as kind matching planning attached to the land use planning in small and medium-sized cities. Pure land use planning has been difficult to guarantee the rationality of traffic planning, and traffic and road system planning is difficult to understand the intention of the layout of land use planning in small and medium-sized cities. It makes land use and traffic system planning disconnected, and causes many problems of traffic system in small and medium-sized cities.Through to the references of related theory and practice, this paper studies the method of the road system planning of small towns, and analyzes all kinds of influence factors. It summarizes the general principles, layout planning and design problems of the road network system planning from the qualitative and quantitative aspects in small towns. At the same time, this paper expounds the method and content of road system planning respectively from the linear planning and design, cross-sectional design, policy guidance and management and so on. On the basis of road system planning method of small towns, this paper further studies the road network planning evaluation and construction project rank in small and medium-sized cities. Thereinto road network planning evaluation mainly includes the technology evaluation, economic evaluation, environmental evaluation and comprehensive evaluation.On the basis of theoretical research, this article selects the Boluo and Weinan as case studies, from four aspects which are economic, social, urban development and transportation further studies its basic situation, and analyzes their respective traffic problems. Last, it puts forward relevant transportation strategy from the external traffic, road system, public transportation, passenger and freight terminal four aspects.At the end of the article, the author summarizes the current urban traffic problems and the countermeasures from the city size, urban and rural integration, per capita vehicle ownership, external traffic, parking problems, green transport six aspects. It hopes that through to work study of the road traffic planning in small and medium-sized cities, puts forward the reasonable method of road traffic planning, and provides theoretical guidance and practice basis for the promotion of traffic development in small and medium-sized cities.
