| With the development of avionics and the need for aviation community in saving fuel, reducing the flight costs, a new airborne electronic equipment-Flight Management Computer System(FMCS) raised. FMCS combines performance optimization,navigation, guidance and control as a whole, constitutes a comprehensive system of electronic control, which is named flight management system(FMS). It can achieve the best flight performance, optimize flight path with minimum cost, auto-complete the mission.In this paper, performance optimization features of flight management system(FMS) were in-depth study, particular the part of performance calculation theoretical study. Through analysis of the international standard atmosphere, the aircraft aerodynamic characteristics, the speed envelope, the aircraft weight and cost index and other performance parameters, this paper got the performance optimization equation with the lowest cost; energy state approximation method is used to deduce by the and calculation method of performance optimization is given; under the requirement of cost index, this paper tried to determine vertical flight path under the minimum cost requirement, calculate the optimal speed under the vertical flight path, the best net thrust,the best fuel flow and the best climb / descent gradient performance parameters, we take a certain type of aircraft as an example, and the simulation results is given. Besides, the impact of the weight, cost index and other parameters to the trajectory optimization is analyzed. The data comparison analysis between Optimized trajectory and non-Optimized trajectory shows that the algorithm was feasible. |
