With rapid development of the economy, the process of the urbanization has been being accelerated further, which boosted the rural-urban migration. In this situation, the contradictions between the shortage of urban land use and the rapid growth of city population have become more and more prominent. To alleviate the problem, high-rise building came into being. About 97 Over 200 meters high-rise buildings were built all around the world in 2104, and China had 58 buildings, about60%. The rapid development of ultra-high-rise buildings made the development of deep pit inevitable. The main role of excavation and pit bracing engineering of underground space is to pass vertical load of the main structure of the construction project, and to stop water and support foundation side-wall for constructing safely,which is about 30%-40% of the whole project cost. The cost is affected by each stage and many factors, If controlled improperly, and the cost of infrastructure projects will exceed the target-based budgeting, then affects the overall profits. So it is the research direction and emphasis that finds factors affecting the project cost in each stage and puts forward the control measures taken beforehand.Firstly, the classification, characteristics and scope of application of excavation and pit bracing engineering are analyzed. Secondly, the influence factors of excavation and pit bracing engineering in cost at each stage are found out, and the AHP is used to identify the critical stage that excavation and pit bracing engineering of high-rise buildings has influence on project cost is the design phase, that the factors affecting the cost of excavation and pit bracing engineering included engineers' professional level and quality, the veracity of the engineering geological investigation data, and the scientific rationality of supporting schemes. Based on these research results, some cost-control measures are come up with. Finally,there is an empirical study about high-rise building foundation engineering. The studies above provide effective measures on cost control of excavation and pit bracing engineering, the aim of which is to make reference for cost control overexcavation and pit bracing engineering of high-rise buildings, to reduce development and operating costs of high-rise buildings, to improve capital utilization, to control prices from cost, and to maintain the healthy development of the real estate industry.
