With the growth of technology and economy of civil aviation of China, the aircraft capacity in the air grows greatly, which meanwhile; the possibility of conflict between aircraft would increase. In order to achieve the sustainable development of civil aviation transport, it is significantly meaningful to ensure the safety of flying aircrafts. Conflict management is an important way to monitor the security separation of aircraft in the air.Delaunay triangulation can mark out the closest point in the space. In the Short Term Conflict Alert system, Delaunay triangulation can be used for filtering out the least number of adjacent track pairs, which will help to reduce the amount of calculation of filtering potential conflict, and improve the system’s efficiency.According to the characteristics of aircraft in flight, the use of method of dynamic Delaunay triangulation is proposed to improve efficiency of filtering adjacent track pairs, the algorithm will improve the existing dynamic method by local re-constructing the points when a reversed triangulation appears. The local e-constructing can not only guarantee the stability of mobile triangulation, and does not affect the dynamic process efficiency.Simulation results show that, the triangulation calculated by dynamic Delaunay triangulation method is the same as the one by re-construction method, and the dynamic process is faster. The results show the robust and efficiency of this algorithm. As the number of adjacent track filtering by Delaunay triangulation is small, the efficiency advantage of dynamic Delaunay triangulation method in filtering potential conflict can be more obvious when there are more tracks in the air.
