Research On The Problems Conflict Management In Construction Projects

In the global society of today the joint development, any of the items are reluctant to face the conflict, but as the moon is not always round, the conflict can not be avoided in project management issues. From the day when a project was born there are accompanied by the conflict all the time. In the implementation process, as the main units involved in related and more complex, the project is often a result of the operation of the project objectives, schedule, quality, and technical issues, project costs, allocation of resources, management processes, such as lack of coordination caused by the conflict. Project technical and management complexity, we will surely give rise to an increase in the number of conflict and the conflict situation has become very complex, and the work of the project have carried out the impact of growing. Conflict and its current project management theory research practice have lagged far behind in development. To this end, it is necessary to analyst the project conflict and its management theories and methods of study and discussion.In this paper, based on modern management theory and the characteristics of modern project, through the comprehensive analysis of the type of conflict, as well as the intensity of conflict in the project life-cycle of the main manifestations and the sources of conflict, conflict behavior. Against this case we have design a questionnaire to determine the existence of which kind of conflicts in construction projects and conflict strength sort during the entire project life cycle. Finally we have proposed the conflict management process and the solutions. In this paper, we hope it will help the project staff in conflict management to provide some reference.
