The BeiDou Navigation Satellite System adopts the dual-mode structure of RDSS and RNSS.The combination of the two provides the user with the positioning and timing functions,and also provides short messages service.Considering the difficulty of general aircraft increasing flight conflicts in low-altitude airspace,a general aviation flights conflict detection and traffic alert system based on BeiDou short messages service scheme is proposed based on the general aviation surveillance system.which uses the communication function of the Beidou short message to transmit the precise position of the general aircraft and the pre-alert information issued by the command center,to achieve centralized detection and early warning of general aircraft flight conflicts.General aviation flights conflict detection and traffic alert system based on BeiDou short messages,the centralized detection structure is adopted.The general aviation aircraft sends information such as position to the ground command center through short messages service,and the ground command center performs flight conflict detection and sends the conflict information to the aircraft through short messages service.Firstly,the position message and pre-alert message are designed based on BeiDou short message service communication protocol and the requirements of general aviation flight conflict detection and traffic alert.The position message includes information such as position,speed,etc.The pre-alert message includes information such as the conflicting aircraft identification number,the conflict level,and the conflicting aircraft position.Subsequently,the communication performance of the Beidou short message service is tested,and a pseudo-random number of the BeiDou short message transmission delay is generated.Then,the conflict detection model and the process of conflict detection are designed with reference to the Traffic Collision Avoidance System(TCAS)detection logic.Finally,the simulation test method and test flow are designed to simulate the BeiDou short message communication process,and the X-Plane flight simulation software is used to simulate the flight data of the general aviation to simulate the availability of general aviation flights conflict detection and traffic alert system based on BeiDou short messages.The simulation results show that the simulated Beidou short message transmission delay,transmission packet loss and service frequency will have a certain negative impact on the general aviation flight conflict detection and traffic alert.The detected missed alarm rate is 3.3%.In the general aviation flight conflict detection application scenario,the risk of safety is high,and the detect result can only be used as auxiliary information for decision making.
