With the current accelerating pace of society, more and more people become sub-healthy, and because of the arrival of an aging society, the demand for health care equipment is increasing rapidly. In response to this phenomenon, the concept of low-cost medical product has been put forward and attracted more and more social attentions, thus creating a new demand for portable family and community medical facilities. Moreover, coupled with the widely spreading of the smartphones, especially the Android phones, lots of intelligent systems and devices controlled by phones are invented. This paper designs and develops an embedded IF electrotherapy system under the local area network, which can meet the future demands of the intelligent electronics treatment equipment.Firstly, the overall control scheme of the system is designed according to the demand. Based on that, this paper designs a hardware circuit for the embedded IF electrotherapy using STM32 So C, including the minimum controller system, the power supply circuit, the home IF electrotherapy low frequency modulation frequency circuit, the signal power amplifier circuit and a wireless communication circuit using the Wi Fi module configuration.Secondly, the control algorithm is designed based on the hardware circuit. This paper transplants ?C/OS-II Embedded operating system, and then develops software code to function on the basis of that system. In the operating system, each function has been set as a separate task, such as the serial port transceiver task, the data processing task. After that, pulse modulation prescription is described in detail as the example of the generating process for a prescription.Next, client applications are developed in the Android platform. Based on the certain needs, the client is divided into two parts: the networking functionality and the treatment selection functionality. So users can take advantage of the embedded IF electrotherapy device to generate an available prescription under the local area network.Finally, the embedded IF electrotherapy system is carefully tested to ensure its availability and reliability. This paper has tested the hardware, the software and the whole performance, and the results show that the system is practicable and reliable.
