With the fast development of LED industry,LED has become the important research direction in lighting field.LED not only can be used in building lighting and traffic lighting,at the same time,develops towards the direction of daily lighting applications.In recent years,the application research of LED has gradually expanded in the field of medical technology.At the same time,with the wireless network technology expansion,realizing wireless and intelligent lighting is becoming a trend.LED-based spectrally tunable technologies are studied in this paper.Synthesize the target spectrums by controlling LED types and numbers and the driving current.LED controlling system software is developed for the entire LED dimming system;this system software is an APP based on the Android platform.Operations of this APP are simple;it can realize remote controlling of the LED lighting sets by joining wireless Wi Fi network.Firstly,the piecewise function fitting method is used to fit LED spectral distribution.Under this premise,a variety of different LEDs with different peak wavelengths are utilized to synthesize the target spectral distributions.The least square fitting for any spectrum is realized in theory.Secondly,the development process of the mobile terminal APP which is based on Android system is described.The mobile terminal APP contains login interface and contrlling interface.Login interface is used to connect the server,after a successful login,the user can control the LED lighting sets through contrlling interface in three ways: palette,slider and button.Any one of these three ways can change the color and brightness of the LED lighting sets.According to optical theory,the spectrum of LED lighting sets changes when it emits different colors.Lastly,the communication process of the entire LED dimming system has been specifically described.The communication between mobile terminal APP and Wi Fi module is realized through Socket communications based on TCP.The WiFi module transmits datas which are received to Single Chip Microcomputer through serial port.Single Chip Microcomputer controls LED lighting sets by data instructions.In this paper,the communication performance was tested and achieved good results.
