| Car steering link connector is an important part in motor vehicle, and the strength and reliability of it is one of the important indexes of vehicle safety. Car steering rod ball joint is an important part of automobile steering drag link. The cause of the drag link failure is steering rod joint failure in most time.Therefore, it solves the car turning the safety hidden trouble by strengthening the quality of Car steering rod ball joint.In order to verify the improved drag link joint quality,we designed a steering link connector test-bench according to QCT304-1999 "automotive steering rod joint assembly test-bench method" of the relevant standards.The mechanical structure of test-bench needs to simulate the motion of the ball head pin is when the car turning, rotation and axial loading.In the design of measurement and control system of the test-bench, we chose consider the sensor, data acquisition card, movement control CARDS of selection, and used the LabVIEW software to test rig measurement and control system simulation.In the last we analyzed experimental results.According to the experimental results, we analyzed the rationality of the tested drag link joint, and verified the feasibility of the test-bench.The experiment table provides a feasible method for the improvement on the quality of the joint of vehicle steering linkage. |
