The development of new energy vehicles has risen to a national strategy. It notonly carries great significance to relieving the environment and energy stress but alsopromotes the automobile industry reform. The new energy automobile industry in chinais still in its infancy stage. The technology of new energy automobile is not advanced.There are more and more bottlenecks in the process of the whole vehicle and the keyparts production. What counts most for the new energy vehicles to enter the market ishow to break through the bottleneck, research and development of the new testtechnology. The paper majors in researching and building the new energy vehicles testbench and developing the measurement and control system. It lays perfect foundationfor the development and function of the the follow–up to the new energy vehicles testbench.The paper analysed the function of the test bench according to the research of newenergy vehicles test bench, and then divided the modules, introduced the composition ofeach module. To aim at the characteristics of the test bench, the paper developed areal-time online monitoring multi-channel data acquisition and anlysis system based onLabVIEW software, combined with D2P MotoHawk development platform, realizingthe electronic control of test platform. This realized the dynamic monitoring, thecorresponding alarm and the control of main components of the test bench.This paper focused on the measurement and control system. Under the LabVIEWsoftware development environment, it finished real-time data acquisition, display,storage, signal processing, historical data playback about15inputs of analogue quantity,4frequency signals and2current signals based on USB and PCI bus. Using the DOoutput function of data acquisition card, the paper realized the control ofelectromagnetic clutch. Through the DLL and CAN communication, the paper realizedthe remote control of the dynamometer and the automatic loading of automobile drivingload. Based on D2P MotoHawk, the paper realized PID algorithm control of engineaccelerator drive and the torque control switched reluctance motor control, developedthe interface of measurement and control system and generated the executable file,which provided a good visual human machine interaction interface for the test bench.On the basis of the above research, the paper made some technological tests aboutthe measurement and control system. We also tested the bench to see whether thefunction of the measurement and control system worked correctly or not. These testsproved that the system can ran stably and reliably, having a strong practical applicability.Through the analysis of experimental results, it figured out the factors affecting the testprecision and bringed forward some solvable measurements. The finished work can provide reliable paltform for the new energy vehicles components performance test andthe whole vehicle performance test. It has laied a solid foundation to furtherdevelopment of new energy vehicles test bench.
