Switched reluctance motor has been widely used in many fields because of its simple structure, low cost, high starting torque, low starting current and high efficiency. In some occasions of high power or high reliability applications, it's usualy need to take two motors to synchronous drive; however, due to there are manufacturing errors and other reasons in the motor, cause the mechanical properties hard to achieve coherence completely, when use the two motors to synchronous drive, the output torque between the double motors will be unbalanced due to the difference in the mechanical characteristics, because the output torque of the motor is too large will cause the motor overload and even the danger of burning in serious case. In this paper, aim at researching on synchronous control system composed of two motors, it proposed a synchronous control method based on fuzzy control and it achieves a good control effectness. The basic principles of the control method, the specific design and simulation model were studied in this paper. The main study of this paper includes:Firstly, the basic characteristics and development of switched reluctance motor were introduced briefly, the research status and existing problems of the synchronous control of double switched reluctance motor were described, a dual switched reluctance motor synchronization control method based on fuzzy control was proposed, the basic structure and main contents of the paper are introduced.This paper expounded systemly the basic mechanism, circuit equation, mathematic model and basic composition of the switched reluctance motor,introduced the current control methods commonly used and analysed it by contrast, the problem of higer torque ripple of switched reluctance motor was analyzed, and the direct torque control based on the torque distribution function method was proposed to suppress the torque ripple.The design method of the synchronous control strategy of double switched reluctance motor based on fuzzy control was studied in detail, aim at synchronous control system composed of two switched reluctance motors, sot up a Dual-Close-Loop comtrolling model with the speed as the control of the outer loop, torque as the control of the inner loop, the outer loop adopts fuzzy control strategy, the direct torque control strategy based on the torque distribution function method was used in the inner loop, and made theoretically analyzing and designing research respectively to the concrete design method of the related control strategy.The models and system were simulated by MATLAB in this paper, making simulation and verification of control effect of the above control strategy, contrast simulative analys with the tranditional corss coupling control at the same time, results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
