Architectural Design Strategy Of Laboratories Of Civil Engineering

The civil engineering laboratory building which is in college is one of campus laboratory buildings which is combined with teaching, scientific research and social service function, establishing this kind of building which have complex structure need special technology, and investment greatly. How to promote site layout, building design and space environment, is the focus of the civil engineering laboratory building design. First of all, the author has collected the related design and researched literatures at home and abroad, and has described some theories, reorganized the history of civil engineering laboratory building which is in college and the author has found three main issues currently exist at this type of building through a series of investigation of present situation. The first is the connection between laboratory and professional teaching building is not tight enough. The second is the space in the laboratory could not adapt the innovation experimental requirements which appears in the discipline development. The third is the space environment of laboratory could not coordinate with the campus style. And then through the analysis of the particularity and complexity of civil engineering laboratory building, in order to solve the problem oriented, combined with the domestic and foreign related architectural design theory and practice experience, through the digestion and absorption of the contemporary civil engineering laboratory building design guiding ideology and design principles. That the guiding ideology, including system overall thinking, conception of heaven and ideas, design principles, including the overall layout of the whole principle, ecological construction monomer design practical principles and the internal and external environment of the principle. Then the chapter discusses the specific design strategies for the overall layout, to focus on its role, through the positioning of civil engineering laboratory building in the campus system role, summed up the layout of the role adaptation, through the specific layout of some strategies to strengthen the laboratory construction and discipline construction links for construction purposes; monomer design, we should pay attention to the needs of the experimental process, through analysis and Research on civil engineering experimental technology, combined with the actual case, summarizes the design strategies of single building, including technology and space combination, test hall design, experiment technology and building integration, architectural modeling processing, structure selection and construction design strategy. According to the internal and external space environment to do adjust measures to local conditions, summed up the meet the requirement of indoor and outdoor space design strategy, and respectively from the external environment and adapt to create good indoor environment point of view put forward the strategies for creating the spatial correlation. Finally, through analyzing of the specific practice, the construction of the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Chongqing Jiaotong University, which has the author participated in the author of this paper confirms and interprets the relevant design strategies.
