The vehicle is a coordinated control system. In order to simulate the control of automobile, it must take into account the factors of human and the real road. Then, It's necessary to combine human,vehicle and road in vehicle system simulation. For carry out the simulation, we must rely on more comprehensive simulation system, the traditional HIL simulation architecture is unable to finish this simulation task. This paper introduces human factors into H2 IL simulation, and the driving simulator system is based on H2 IL.The vehicle driving simulation system is an important tool and means for automobile engineering research, its main performance index is immersion. In order to achieve good effect on immersion, it requires the dynamic model of vehicle driving simulator is accurate enough, the calculation result is close to the real physical world. The display system, the sound simulation system and the simulation system can provide the driver with close to the true sense of motion and the visual, sound and tactile feedback. This paper focus on this problem which include using mature vehicle dynamics simulation software, using the latest virtual reality display technology, finishing the design of the six degree of freedom driving simulation system and mainly completing the following work:(1) After investigating the driving simulators of domestic and foreign now already have and considering the current test conditions, a system scheme and performance requirements are determined. the technical scheme is determined through analyzing the key technology and the detailed explanation is made.(2) The driving simulation environment is built based on the virtual reality engine and the 3D modeling software and the visual simulation of the driving environment is displayed by the virtual display helmet. The scene model with high precision is made, the sound effect is produced, and the script is programmed to drive the physical model of the scene to make it conform to the law of physical life.(3) Based on the PXI NI real-time system and the vehicle dynamics software CarSim, the real-time solution system of vehicle dynamics model of the driving simulation system is constructed, and the data acquisition of the driver's operation is realized by using the Logitech G27. Due to the advantages of NI real-time system, the real-time simulation can be guaranteed.(4) Based on the investigation of the six degree of freedom motion platform's space parameters of the driving simulator at home and abroad and considering the existing conditions of the laboratory, the movement space parameters of the platform are designed. By establishing the mathematical relationship between the platform structure parameters and the performance parameters of the space, the analysis is made to get the rules that can help the design of the platform structure parameters. Then using the mechanical modeling software CATIA to build the parametric model,then simulation and mechanical interference verification are carried out.The final platform structure parameters of the platform is determined. Finally, the ADAMS and MATLAB are used to simulate the platform's motion. The platform's stress and motion under different working conditions are tested.(5) The data communication requirement of driving simulation system is analyzed, and the realization method of data communication is selected and realized. The results show that the designed data communication program can meet the requirements.Through the above research work, basically realize the important module of driving simulation system. The vehicle dynamics model solution system can real-time and accurate calculation with the input driver. Visual system can provide a more realistic immersion effect. Motion platform control effect is good.
