The monitoring and management of personnel on vessels are still using the traditional method,lacking of information management methods.The project is based on passive UHF RFID technology.Personnel real-time location monitoring system on vessels has completed,as well as the information management about personnel's location information in cabins has realized.Firstly,the construction of the cabin reader system hardware platform has been completed in this paper.MCU STM32F103VET6 and UHF RFID chip AS3992 are the cores of the hardware circuit design.Control module circuit of the system includes: A power supply circuit,a clock circuit,a reset circuit and an Ethernet communication interface circuit etc.This module is responsible for communicating with the host computer and sending control command to the RF module.RF module circuit of the system includes: A power amplifier circuit,a low-pass filter circuit,a transceiver isolation circuit.This module is responsible for executing the command send by the host computer and communicating with the tag which is used as monitoring nodes.Moreover,the construction of the personnel monitoring system software platform has been completed in this paper.Software design is mainly divided into two parts.The first part is cabin reader program,includes the main program of reader system,ISO/IEC 18000-6C protocol program and ?IP1.0 network communication program.The main program is mainly responsible for scheduling reader system;ISO/IEC 18000-6C protocol is responsible for handling protocols command;?IP1.0 network communication program is used to execute the data communication with the host computer.The second part is host computer program.The system develops the host computer software based on C# programming language.The host computer mainly responsible for sending control command to the cabin reader and getting the data come from the reader.Finally,the system has been tested in this paper.The test results show that the designed RFID reader which is placed in cabin can correctly read and write monitoring tags and operate the tags.The tests also show that the designed cabin reader can obtain personnel's location information in cabins in real time.
