Under the background of Chinese energy consumption in second place, the research work of low energy consumption building in China is being carried out in succession. In the cold area of China, low energy architecture has been started relatively late, and the research of the low energy architecture technology in this area is relatively backward. It is still needed to sum up experience in the exploration. The building envelope of low energy architecture in the cold area of Northeast China has a certain reference value to the cold area of Northeast China, and even to the whole green villages and towns. In this paper, the research object of this paper is to study the energy consumption of buildings under different conditions of the building by means of building energy simulation software De ST h, which is developed by Tsinghua University. Based on the analysis of the energy consumption of residential buildings in the village, the energy consumption of the residential buildings, roof, exterior windows, and the ground as variables, the energy consumption of the different variables was simulated by De ST-h software.This paper mainly studies the design of the building envelope of low energy consumption in the cold regions of Northeast China based on De ST-h simulation. Discussing the optimization strategy of the low energy consumption building in the area of rural residential buildings by changing the building envelope. Main content:(1) In depth study of the climatic conditions, architectural features and weak links of residential building envelope in the cold regions of Northeast China, a large number of date research on the rural residential buildings of the same latitude area and research deeply the design of the structure of the building envelope. Based on the analysis of this research, the optimization scheme of the building envelope structure is obtained.(2) Analysis and research the influence and optimization of building envelope on energy consumption in the intial model. The analysis process is divided into three steps, namely, 1 theoretical analysis, 2 energy consumption simulation, 3 optimization design.By using De ST-h, which is a kind of Simulation software of building energy consumption, Horizontal analysis of the simulation energy consumption results which is under the impact of the single factor of the building envelope, and summary the relationship between the structure of the building and the building energy consumption.(3) In order to optimize the design, we integrate the design of the retaining structure. Through the comparison of the results of the optimization scheme and taking the economic feasibility and the principle of low energy consumption as a prerequisite, we obtain the optimal design scheme of building envelope for low energy consumption towns in the cold regions of Northeast China.In this paper, the optimum design of the retaining structure is based on the analysis of the theory and then make the simulation through the com puter software. This research method has very strong objectivity, and fully embodies the controllability of the process of architectural optimization design.we expect that the optimized design strategy which is summed up in our research about the low energ y consumption structure of rural residential buildings could have a certain reference value to the cold region of Northeast china and even to the towns and villages which have the similar climate.
