Study Of The Traffic Safety Risk Assessment Of Hub Type Interchanges In Operation Phase

With the rapid development of road traffic and the high grade highway construction, hub type interchanges play the more importance role in road system, improving the usage efficiency of roads and operation efficiency of traffic, making road service level has significantly improved. Although traffic safety evaluation of hub type interchanges be implement in phase of feasibility study and construction design, which includes technical scheme, environmental impact, roadbed and road surface safety evaluation etc, many problems, ex traffic explosion, traffic accidents, hidden danger, will be spring up in the process of its operation. So the traffic safety risk assessment of hub type interchanges in operation phase has important practical significance. It can not only provide the basis for later screening of risk factors, but also can prevent the traffic accident to minimize the risk of traffic accidents.In this paper, the safety evaluation of hub type interchanges mainly from two aspects: road facilities and traffic accidents. Firstly, paper overall evaluate traffic safety in form choice of interchange, location selection, route of road safety, route intersection safety and traffic engineering facilities security according to the result of vehicle running speed of coordination evaluation. Secondly, identify hierarchically risks of traffic accidents from the people, vehicles, roads, environment and management factors by the theory of the comprehensive cause. According to the index system of AHP, it constructs the initial risk assessment matrix, then rating the road traffic accident risk using the RSR method. Putting risk assessment model into MATLAB-M data file by MATLAB software platform, completed risk assessment matrix import and data matrix transformation to realize the traffic accident risk assessment. Finally, carried on traffic safety evaluation and accident risk assessment of Shi Jiawan hub interchange, reasonable evaluation conclusion has be gained and reasonable improvement measures has been put forward.
