With the development of long-distance, large-capacity belt conveyor, belt conveyor frame also show large and heavy. In practical applications, the selection of frame is often based on the belt conveyor design manual but the frame stress analysis in the design manual is uncomprehensive,and unspecific. The belt conveyor design manual only give a suitable for this form of selection, we still need to choose according to the designers long-term experience, nor does it apply to non-standard frame design. Designers select and design a frame with a certain blindness and limitations. So far, there is no complete calculation method for design of frame structure. Therefore, the frame structure of belt conveyor for rational mechanics analysis and calculation has the important meaning of theory and practice.Based on the theory of statically indeterminate, the belt conveyor frame mechanical model is established and the stress analysis of the individual members of the frame is carried out, then determine the number of statically indeterminate, write deformation compatibility equations,ues of moire integral method and displacement reciprocal theorem to obtain the bar force calculation equation, and then solve the redundant unknown force. On the basis of solving statically indeterminate, we can select the frame steel specification, check frame strength, stiffness, and stability, as well as deduce the most reasonable calculation method to the design of the frame structure. According to the external force and overturning moment, we can also come to the calculation method for the selection of the bolt. The ANSYS finite element simulation and the modal analysis of the frame structure help us to put forward the design scheme of avoiding the resonance of the frame.In order to accurately calculate the stress of the frame, database is set up by using the Excel. On the visual Studio, combined by Excel with finite element software,,the Redevelopment of software is completed.It can direct query of the database data and design non-standard frame,which is convenient for the user.It also get the corresponding results of finite element analysis. It is of high value for engineering application and improvement of the efficiency of the machine frame design. Moreover, this method plays a positive role to the promotion of the belt conveyor design level.
