Aircraft deicing vehicle operating arm is one of the key parts of the aircraft deicing vehicle and also a necessary condition whether the deicing vehicle can meet the deicing requirements. According to the Kinematics and security requirements on the deicing vehicle operating arm and leveling mechanism, the design of the operating arm and the work platform should meet the safety and stability requirements, and also the smoothness of the operation and control. The aircraft deicing vehicle operating arm bears heavy tasks and the environment is quite complex, therefore, modeling, stress analysis and strength analysis for the operating arm and the leveling mechanism are an important part in the damage prediction and maintenance work of the operating arm.Firstly make the analysis of the aircraft deicing vehicle operating arm system, then assumed the basic conditions of the dynamic model of the deicing vehicle operating arm, it's inverse-calculated and designed that the length of each lever and the shape of the parts based on the requirements of the target. According to the shape of the levers, the 3D modeling of the parts is done firstly, then the virtual assembly is conducted based on the assembly module of Pro/E, finally the kinematic analysis of the operating arm is made.Secondly, according to the assembly model in Pro/E, the VIEW module in ADAMS, the virtual prototyping software, is used for dynamics analysis. The 3D assembly model is guided into ADAMS, then the kinetic analysis of the part model and assembly model above is made.Verify whether the design meets the requirements, then find out the position which stands the largest force throughout the course of the campaign, which can get ready for static analysis.Finally, considering the 3D parts which have been designed initially, simplify it as much as possible according to its working environment. ANSYS the mechanical analysis software,is used for the static analysis of the critical parts of the design. Based on the conclusion got from the ADAMS analysis and the working environment, the material and its quality are assumed, also the load of bearing tasks is confirmed. After that, test whether it meets the requirements and achieves the design goals.
