The rapid growth on economy contributes to the increasing passengers and aircrafts. The problem of congested route and flight delays are becoming a bottleneck on restricting the further development of civil aviation and cared more by our society. The method of determining the direction of the routes has been proposed in order to reduce the flight delays and the operating pressure of air routes.Both the traffic growth issues and the advantages of implementing one-way air route have been analyzed. The necessity, feasibility and effectiveness of implementing one-way air route are described. The one-way air route can effectively release a number of flight levels in the air bridge and improve the traffic capacity. In addition, the collision risk is lowered by reducing the relative flights. It also has significant effect on the distribution of the busy air routes or sectors and alleviating the problem of uneven flow distribution effectively, but the flying distance and costs may be raised.A directional model of one-way air route is constructed with the graph theory. The theoretical method is studied as the key point to determine the operation direction of the air route and the concrete steps of air route orientation are confirmed. The planning area is selected to get the network topology map. The Hamiltonian circuit theory is used to determine a part of air routes direction preliminarily. An auxiliary directed circle is constructed to determine the whole air route directed graph. The microcirculation is improved to obtain the more reasonable scheme for some parts of the air routes.A comprehensive evaluation model of the one-way route is constructed in order to evaluate the implementation effect of the plan. The analytic hierarchy process is used to establish the index system and determine the weights of the various indicators. The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to comprehensively evaluate the indicators. These two methods improve the reliability of comprehensive evaluation.The area surrounded by Xi'an, Zhengzhou, Changsha and Guiyang is selected to study as the example of one-way air route planning. The given case is associated with the one-way air route that have been implemented, and they both have the same direction, which demonstratesthe directional method and the planning scheme that studied in this paper can be used in spreading the one-way air route in the future. The implementation effect of the large capacity air channel of Jing-Kun route is evaluated by the comprehensive evaluation model, which verifying the effectiveness of this model. The planning case is evaluated by using this model to verify the practicability of the directional method.
