In recent years, the parafoil shows a strong advantage in the field of disaster relief delivery, war supplies and spacecraft recovery. Parafoil airdrop system is widely studied. Because of the lack of parafoil airdrop data, it is difficult to meet the demand of research and application. Therefore, this paper proposes research on parafoil data acquisition and control system and applies it to practice.The paper designs the overall architecture of parafoil airdrop system and analyses the modules of parafoil airdrop system. In the background of the specific application, the hardware platform and sensors' selection of the data acquisition and control system are introduced in detail,and the selection, cutting and security of the operating system are introduced in detail. The core electric cavity and parafoil humanoid structure of parafoil data acquisition system is designed for hardware module. The structure makes the equipment easy to integrate, and improves the stability and reliability of the equipment.The paper designs the parafoil data acquisition system software architecture. A variety of sensor data acquisition modules are designed, including aircraft attitude reference system, GPS module, single axis acceleration, data acquisition card module, air pressure sensor module. A reasonable frame format for data transmission is designed. Hoffman encoding is used for data compression and the amount of data transmission is reduced. The communication protocol between the data acquisition system and the ground station is designed to ensure the real-time performance and reliability of the communication.Parafoil homing control method is studied. Simple homing, optimal control homing and segmented homing are analyzed and segmented homing is selected for the project. PID control is selected as the parafoil homing control method. The basic principle of PID control and the influence of controller parameters on the performance of PID control are analyzed. Genetic algorithm is selected to tune the PID parameters. The selection, crossover and mutation operator of genetic algorithm are improved to tune the PID parameters.Finally, the core electric cavity of the parafoil data acquisition system is tested outdoors. By collecting and analyzing acceleration inside and outside the cavity, the external damping layer of the core cavity has been proved to have good damping effect.
