Although the expression of three national strategies such as "German industry 4.0","American Industrial Internet" and "Made in China 2025”is different,essentially they are similar in intelligent manufacturing.The essence of new industrial revolution is the dispute on global industrial standards.To enhance intelligence,we need to not only improve automation of equipments on production line,but also strengthen management information system of manufacturing enterprise.In traditional management there is lack of real-time effective information interaction,so production field is a "black box" for enterprise.Manufacturing Execution System has ability to communicate with upper and lower layers simultaneously,which is between Enterprise Resource Planning and Process Control System,through collecting various manufacturing information in real-time to guide,control workshop production and feedback production-related evaluation information to ERP,helps management make decisions and optimize production activities.A factory of hydraulic torque converter assembly workshop in Shaanxi Province has many kinds of equipments,with complexed communication protocol,and backward data acquisition methods,which seriously restricted enterprise information management.Data acquisition is the foundation of MES to achieve material tracking,production process monitoring,quality management and other functions.Therefore,accurate and real-time data acquisition and transmission has become the key to accomplish enterprise informatization.This paper summarized current research situation of MES data acquisition at home and abroad,based on introduction source,background and significance of this subject.Data acquisition and communication solution for implement MES was proposed in hydraulic torque converter assembly workshop,which is aimed at improving the information management level of enterprise floor layer.The specific research contents are as follows.Firstly,we researched actual production on hydraulic torque converter assembly workshop,then we understood product structure,functional principles and process flow of different components of hydraulic torque converter respectively.The basic theory of MES and the bridge function of MES system in the whole enterprise information management were studied.Secondly,according to requirements of data acquisition and transmission in main functions of MES system,such as production process monitoring and quality management,we classified manufacturing process information of assembly shop in detail,overall framework of data acquisition and application process based on RFID was put forward,we studied different NC system state data acquisition methods.In STEP 7,hardware configuration of each island area was completed,and a local area network of hydraulic torque converter workshop based on Siemens Profibus field bus and Profinet Industrial Ethernet was set up.We studied various communication implementations in workshop,including Profibus master and slave communication(PLC and MM440 frequency converter,RFID300 reader),MPI,S7 communication based on TCP/IP between S7-300 PLC,OPEN IE communication of PLC with third party equipments and PLC with WinCC communication,each connection conducted a communication test.To slove problems of equipments compatibility in workshop,multi-source heterogeneity data and complex communication protocol,an integrated data communication network was proposed based on OPC specification.We used the X20PC server provided by the third party software developer to carry on the data simulation acquisition and completed communication with WinCC the host computer monitoring software.Finally,the relationship between tables diagram and main table structure of HTC-MES SQL Server database were designed.The production line monitoring system of hydraulic torque converter was designed through secondary developed WinCC configuration software,then system composition and operation principle were described in detail,interfaces of island area monitoring,alarm and product quality data acquisition were displayed at last.
