About one third of people worldwide suffers from insomnia or sleep dysfunction, and China has more than 300 million people suffering from sleep disorders problems. Acute insomnia, from a clinical point of view, it is relatively easy to handle, but chronic insomnia is a difficult clinical problem. If they are treated only with drugs in the long term perspective. Firstly the effect is not ideal, followed by the concern about a variety of adverse reactions of the treatment. Therefore comprehensive intervention is needed, which is inseparable from the natural non-drug treatment. Currently, there is considerable evidence that cognitive-behavioral treatment of insomnia(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia, called CBT-I) is a very effective means, which comprises a group of sleep-related behaviors, maladaptive sleep-related cognitive therapy. And the use of sedative-hypnotics acute treatment for 4-8 weeks has the same effect, and long-term treatment is more effective.Front-end equipment of remote management for chronic insomina is mainly used to judge the sleep situation of the patients by collecting and storaging data with front-end equipment. And the patient is limited by time to be in bed awake and to stay in a bedroom or bed. Finally it contributes to strengthen the contact between bed, bedroom, bedtime and fast and steady sleep, prompte patients gradually return to normal sleep, improve sleep quality. This paper introduces the development of the front-end equipment of the system, stimulus control therapy and sleep restriction therapy. Taking into account of the different usage scenarios and needs of patients, this paper developes the front-end equipments used in different situations and.First, this paper designs a kind of front-end equipment based on offline speech program for chronic insomnia in the case of patients with environmental restrictions. It juggs the patient’s sleep state through the analysis of algorithm. When the patient hasn’t fallen asleep for a long time or being awake a long way. The equipment will remind patients to leave the bedroom instead of doctors and to return bedroom when the patient feels sleepy, gradually strengthening the relationship between the patient and the bedroom. After getting up every day, the patient needs to transmit the collected data to PC to analyze sleep every night and throughout the treatment process.And the Android-based interactive front-end design needs to establish a connection with the remote doctor via internet. Only in this way can the doctor realize remote management therapy. With the switching function, on the one hand, it can carry out long-term monitoring, saving the relevant data and exporting data to PC via USB to analyze changes in patients of sleep over time. On the other hand, it can access sensor data via FIFO and is connected via Bluetooth to transmitt real-time data to the mobile terminal. Meanwhile, PSG analysis algorithm is transplanted to mobile terminal for processing and analysis. The doctor can observe the patient’s sleep through a remote terminal and give instructions to enable patients to more easily fall asleep.
