By means of annual automobile exhaust detection in measuring station to control automobile exhaust emissions containing CO, CO2, NOx, ch compounds on the atmospheric pollution, restrict or eliminat the unqualified car. We don't know enough on the protection of the environment and the reality apparently, and far failed to effectively control the automobile exhaust on China's growing air pollution hazards. This has become an indisputable fact and a serious problem affecting the sustainable development of the country's economy. How to monitoring and control a large number of the vehicle exhaust driving on the road, which can easy to carry, practical and economical, detect the car tail gas at anytime and anywhere, is a very realistic economic and social significance of the research. Because the automobile tail gas detector is mainly monopolized by the foreign product market, the price all is in the several thousand yuan above or even higher, which has restricted the practical application and is difficult to be widely promoted in our country. We lack an instrument that can facilitate environmental protection law enforcement agencies and that can also provide self-test in real-time, portable, economical and practical instrument for the owners.In view of this situation, this paper designs a kind of portable automobile tail gas detecting device which is convenient and economical. Three kinds of electrochemical gas sensors are used to collect the CO, CO2 and CH compounds in the tail gas, and the electrical signal generated by the A/D conversion is processed by the processor. Processing results can be displayed on the spot, and also can be sent to the PC by the Bluetooth module. While both having the data storage and query function, model of lithium battery can extend the use of time. A new algorithm is proposed to compensate the deviation of the temperature and humidity of the sensor, which is innovative, so it is more reliable and has practical value. In convenience for drivers to keep abreast of the vehicle exhaust emissions and for environmental protection law enforcement departments to establish record of exhaust emissions from vehicles at the same time, we can achieve real-time detection of automobile exhaust emissions of harmful gases such as CO, CO2, CH compounds and so on.
