Analysis And Design Of The Container Freight Station Wireless Operation System

The container freight station (CFS) is a department of a container terminal or a container yard. It is an important link of container transportation. CFS makes an important role in process of container stuffing and stripping. At the same time, CFS must communicate tightly with the terminals, shippers and the Customs, to ensure the cargo been cleared by the customs timely and quickly. With the development of container shipping, both container terminals and container yards have taken advanced container operation system in order to make the operation process efficient and safe. However, many terminals do not take specific measures in operation system, which leads to the system control weakness, inefficient data transmissionand data distortion.This paper analyzes the present workflow and system control of a CFS, points out problems in process control and proposes an optimized scheme by using wireless operation system.With many years experiences in container terminal, through process analysis, experience summary, summarized the research methods such as literature,the author expounded the present situation of a CFS operation system, analyzed the business requirements, designed the wireless operation system, and compared the advantage between Android system and WinCE system, then finally put forward the optimized scheme for CFS operation system. This scheme provides valuable reference to other CFS.
