Research On The Transformation Of Brownfield Based On The Concept Of Green Building

The threat of gradually polluted environment that affected human’s health and ecosystem has become one of the core issue of the world,which result in land resources decreasing and increasing land demand of booming industry,these two problem are became a unsolvable contradiction now.Moreover,the process of controlling pollution would have other negative impact on environment itself;and the huge cost of pollution control is even higher than the benefit of the controlling measures.Thus,there would be another contraction between the necessity of improve brownfield and low profits.The use of green building concept can reduce negative influence to environment during the process of brownfield remediation and redevelopment,lower the cost,and increase the profits.Thus,the contraction can be coordinated.By studying a large number of relevant literature,foreign system,key elements,theoretical model and cases,this paper,combined with the practical situation of our country,use the interdisciplinary comprehensive method,finally integrated the concept of green building into brownfield improvement from the perspective of architecture.This paper intended to provid valuable results of brownfield remediation and redevelopment for our country though the aspects of practice system,crucial elements,and theoretical model.The studies suggest that our country is lack of a sound system for brownfield remediation and redevelopment.The government could gradually perfect the related system in our country by learning from western developed countries and take domestic needs into consideration.The key point of browenfield remediation and redevelopments is working with reliable infrastructure,explicit risk assessment and have the quantitative evaluation done under a clear contamination level.The theoretical model of brownfield remediation and redevelopment shall includes guiding polices,specific strategy and evaluation criterion.Thus the governments shall develop models with their own characteristics.And the implements of brownfield redevelopment shall take sustainable development of each strategy into consideration and optimize the implements by the green building concept.The integration of the concept of green building and brownfiled remediation and redevelopment can maximum the development of renewable resources to reduce energy consumption effectively,reduce the emission of polluted and greenhouse gas to ease air condition,preserve water resources to protect hydrological environment,develop renewable material to reduce material waste and protect the earth’s soil and ecosystem from the influence of unfavorable factors.What’s more,The integration of green building technology and regular brown field redevelopment technology could developing a flexible,simple and convenient way which will provide the possibility of a improved brownfield to sustain in a full life cycle.Improving brownfield under the green building concept can also promote the sustainable development concept and coordinate the contradiction between industrial development and environmental pollution;push the architecture theory research into a wider dimension and deeper exploration;Promote the architecture discipline,point out the new trend of the development of the discipline.
