With the development of economy and society,China's energy consumption increased significantly,energy has become an important bottleneck restrict ing economic development.Because building energy consumption accounts for a large proportion in total energy consumption in society and is growing rapidly,reducing building energy consumption is of great significance to reduce the total en ergy consumption in our society.Up to date,95 percent of completed buildings in China are high-energy exhausted,and there are still a large number of this kind of buildings in construction.Thus it's urgent to study which energy-saving measure is effective to reduce the energy consumption of buildings.The building envelope is an important factor which can influence the building energy consumption,and the thermal performance of building envelope s is generally low in our country,which results to unnecessary building energy consumption.So the main way to save the energy of buildings is designing reasonable building envelopes.This paper takes a typical residential building in Changsha area as the research object.Firstly,through simulating the energy consumption of residential buildings at the initial condition and comparing the air conditioning load and heating load of rooms in different floors and orientations,the specific distribution of energy consumption is analyzed with the Designer 's Simulation Tookit De ST-h.Secondly,the key points of the energy saving technology of residential building envelope s in Changsha area can be drawn preliminary by using orthogonal experiments to compare the affect of four factors,which are window-wall rations,exterior windows,exterior walls and roof,and rank them.Then this paper analyzes the energy consumption of each building envelope under different energy saving measures and simulates the changes of energy consumption of building envelopes with different orientations under a certain energy saving measure,so we can study the impact of the orientation of building envelopes on building energy efficiency.Finally,combining the characteristic of residential buildings in Changsha and these key points of energy-saving technologies,we can get the suitable energy-saving measure for Changsha area.The optimized glass of exterior windows and the most economical thickness of insulation materials of the exterior wall and roof are selected through the economic analysis of energy saving methods used in various building envelopes.
