| Ship domain is one of the most important fundamental theory in the field of marine traffic engineering.The scale of ship domain is key to the transportation planning and management at sea and formal safety assessment.After decades of development,inland river field has also begun to follow the concept of the ship domain.As different characteristics exist,researches on inland ship domain have a strong pertinence,they are mainly focused on the waterway which owns a large traffic volume,high rate of encounter and high collision risk.Especially,domestic researches focus on Yangtze River mostly.Since the 21th century,with the amount of ships being increasing sostenuto,management department has been under great pressure to maritime safety administra-tion.In such a case,Anhui province puts forward a study on the ships’ routeing systems in Anhui section of the Huaihe River,aimed at enhancing the standard of marine traffic administration in Huaihe River.On the basis of a deep study of research status,basic theory and situation of Huaihe River,determine the observation area,ship and design an observation record.Obtain the distance data between two ships in encounter through ship-based observation.A new partition algorithm is used to cluster categorical data based on generalized centroid,which uses more than one centroid to represent a cluster and implies the data distribution feature better.It has less iteration times and higher clustering accuracy than K-means and K-modes algorithms.Set and improve the alogrithm,with the help of programming in C,determine the ship domain of Huaihe River’s trunk stream.This paper is the first study on the ship domain of Huaihe River,at the same time,it provides data support about the scale of traffic separation scheme in Huaihe River. |
