| With the implementation of the strategy "one belt one road",the development and construction of harbors becomes an indispensable part in the new times.Fairway as an important component of harbor,its width directly determines whether the ship can get in or off the port safely.Firstly,some ports had already been built in some port area with strong current and wind,which produces a big influence on ship’s safety navigation in fairway.Meanwhile,the heated competitions of shipping industry has changed its original operating mode and made it possible for ship to get in or off the port with the consideration of sail schedule and profits,getting in or off the harbor under strong wind and current will become the trend in the future.Finally,taking the emergency evacuation and entrance into account,like the evacuation of typhoon and other adverse circumstances,getting into the port to charge or discharge the cargoes before or after the coming of terrible weather.On this occasion,the fairway width becomes the major concern.However,our current standard does not explicitly put forward the relevant advice of drifting coefficient,leeway and drift angle with the beaufort wind scale over 7 and current speed overl.Om/s.As a result,the fairway width cannot be calculated under the influence of strong wind and current,which makes it complicated for fairway designer,navigator,pilot and port authority to calculate the fairway width or use the width reasonably,danger will be caused on the ship at the end.By making specific comparison and analysis of standards in or out our nation,the article chooses the main factors and built up the theoretic calculation method.The article also use the ship simulator NT-PRO 5000 to simulate the result of the different experimental plans by choosing some suitable ship models and corresponding working conditions.Through measuring,processing,comparing and analyzing,the values of ship’s track width,leeway and drift angle will be obtained.Using the data from ship simulator and making comparison with the theoretic calculation result,then,the suitable fairway width will be gotten under different simulating conditions.Finally,referring to our current standard,using the results to get the relevant coefficients,which will offer references to person engaged in fairway design,ship handling and harbor management,especially,provides a reference basis for our country to develop new standard in the near future. |
