The transportation industry is vital to the national economy, fast and steady development of transportation industry is essential to constructs a harmonious social! Along with the fast development of national economy, our country has already made significant progress in transportation modernization. Federal highway skeleton line transportation network, which mainly construct by "five vertical seven horizontal", has begun to take shape. The construction of railway network is also during vigorous development. At the same time, the quantity of bridge that connects communication network between both banks of rivers is growing rapidly. As a fundamental mode to connect the waterway and the land route, the bridges on rivers join the road net and the railway net together, them have vital significance to the development of transportation industry! These crossing river bridges have become an important symbol of the transportation modernization in our country, and play an important role in the development of national economy. However, more and more crossing river bridges inevitably bring influence on shipping industry in rivers. In order to reduce the negative influence maximumly, insuring the ships sail safely in the bridge area, it is very important to analyze, research and argument the navigating conditions in the area around bridges before constructing bridge!While the quantity of crossing river bridge unceasingly increases, the large-scale inland river ships (team) and the single ships also navigate more and more frequently, the density of ship flow is increasing year by year. Therefore, after the bridge completes, the piers in the river have a bigger hindrance to the ships, especially in the flood season, the piers can cause the navigating environment changes, the hindrance will be more dramatic. In order to analyze andresearch the probable influence, comprehensively grasps the tendency and its influence factor when ships passing bridge; scientificly and reasonably leading the passing ships, guarantees the safety of navigation and bridge, achieved "the north and south, the thing two channels" are unimpeded, it is extremely essential to research the navigation situation in bridge site section of rivers.The direct source of this thesis is the study project what accepted by Wuhan University of Technology Navigation College about "actual ship experiment and simulating study of Wanzhou Yangtze river railway bridge" . The project combines the past and present hydrology, weather, and geographical materials in the area around bridge, use ship test and theoretical research to set up a reasonable mathematics model about the width that ships need when passing bridge area, and demonstrate the navigating yardstick.This thesis is divided into five chapters altogether: Chapter one is the introduction, which has explained the source, contents, meanings and current situations of this research subject. Chapter two counts and analyzes the accidents in the area around bridge, find out the reason of accidents, and classify, sum up the reason, summarize the corresponding conclusion, draw some mechanisms, point out it is essential to research the navigating environment. Chapter three mainly introduced the hydrometeorological characteristic and the influence to ships when passing bridge, ascertain of channel yardstick and the influence on the ships when passing bridge. Chapter four research the mathematics model about the width that ships need when passing bridge area, have put forward the methods to calculate the departing distance of stern, drifting distance of ship and the amount get rid of course, set up the width model when single ship (team) passing bridge. Chapter five prove the bridge' s navigating yardstick, including wind, flowing, the speed of ship, chosen of coordinate system and calculation parameter, results of calculation and dataanalysis, put forward measures to plan course and ensure safety.This thesis proceeds from the reality, puts up the theory analyzing, on the foundation of setting up mathematics model, combine the environm...
