Overhead contact line system is an important part of the traction power supply system,and the failure will affect the time of train running.Its security and stability are also important guarantee for the normal operation of the traction power supply system.This paper studies on switch configuration of Overhead Contact Line System.When the failure of Overhead Contact Line System,we can quickly restore power supply fault area,reduce fault through the influence of time on the train and improve the ability of railway.In order to shorten the processing time after fault,we study on the fault restoration algorithm of fault location automation of Overhead Contact Line System.We improved contact net to switch on the line as the node switch between lines as the matrix algorithm of branch of fault location,and made an example to verify by calculation.When Overhead Contact Line System suddenly have failure,we based on the practical and effective method of minimal interval time to analysis extra interval time causing the train operation process.We calculate carrying capacity under different fault types of railway and compare to the railway's thronging ability under normal conditions.We get that different types of faults have different influence of the capacity.When Overhead Contact Line System have unrecoverable fault,the railway's carrying ability has a great trouble.In order to reduce the effect of unrecoverable failure on railway carrying capacity,we proposed in the power supply catenary configuration on the arm of remote switch.When the power supply arm of overhead contact line system has unrecoverable failure,the circuit breaker will trip.And control center used the fault information control center to find the location and gave instructions to make the remote switch open to isolate fault zone and to restore power of other areas.It avoid the unrecoverable fault brings the opening of temporary skylights and emergency repairing operations.The problem of long time delay caused by fault is solved.It reduces the influence of the fault on the train passing time and improves the railway capacity.After the remote switch configuration,we analyzed the feasibility of the scheme.We get the maximum distance required for a train to slip in a non-power supply area.Then,we establish the mathematical model of the relationship between the capacity and the number of switches and use greedy algorithm to find the optimal number of switches.Through theMATLAB software,we built the optimization program of the number of switches and the image user interface.We combined with examples,respectively,to find the optimal number of switch for the different length power supply arm and the different speed trains.Finally,on the basis of the optimization results,an example is given to analyze the train sliding process.We verify the configuration of remote switch to improve that the ability of railway is feasible and effective.
