With the maturity of the photoelectric mutual induction technology,intelligent switch technology and Internet communication technology,the generation of digital substation become possible.Digital substation is driving another innovation of the construction of the power system transformer substation.traction substation equipments share and deliver message mainly through the network.Therefore,if we want to monitor the running status of substation,monitoring the network packet could be a good choice.Based on the above background,it is of great significance to design a kind of network packet analysis tool,which can analyze packet message in real time.And then,the tool could pass on the analysis results to the master in the station layer.From that,it is easy to diagnosis accident and find the accident position.First of all,this paper systematically analyses the typical digital traction substation main wiring,as well as its characteristics.What's more,it is important to research the transmission principle of GOOSE message,MMS message and SMV packet which are applied in the substation network communication.According to the research on the online analysis tool,its function is divided into different modules.And then,the online analysis tool is running on a given hardware which must meet the technical specifications.In this paper,the primary technologies are discussed and the way is put forward to solve it.Secondly,the online analysis tool's function is designed which is based on its requirement function analysis.The network packet analysis tool owns the following several main functions:the online network packet capture,the key message parsing,message content and message sequence monitor,SMV packet data content waveform display,a message flow statistics,data retrieval,etc.Then,the way that data flows between the various function modules is introduced.Thirdly,this paper is based on the QT development platform to complete the design of the network packet online analytical tools.In order to realize the specific functions,lots of codes are written by C++ language.What's more,the software design process,the implementation principle,data structure and the key codes are also introduced.Finally,the simulate testing tool is used to simulate the message sending,message content and sequence changing and message traffic surges of fault in network communication.Through the simulated test,the packet online analytical tool has been designed which is basically achieved software requirements analysis function.It can detect abnormal message.From above Showed message in this paper,the analysis of design tools has a certain extent practical value in the field of digital traction substation monitoring.
