In recent years,high-speed railways have developed rapidly in China.Until September 2016,the operation mileage of high-speed railways in China has exceeded 20,000 kilometers.The radio block center(RBC),as a key part of high-speed railway equipment on the ground,is responsible for engendering movement authorities for trains and control train safety operations.At present,the core technology has not been fully mastered by the manufacturing enterprises of railway equipment in our country.Therefore,strengthening the analysis and research and producing domestic RBCs early with independent intellectual property rights are of great importance to the further development of high-speed railways for our country.In this paper,the RBC simulation platform is built in C#language,and the research and exploration are performed about the critical technique of RBC.After the theoretical analysis is made on generating movement authority(MA),which is the core function of RBC,the unified modeling language(UML)is utilized to construct the platform models,as the basis to achieve the software development.Finally,the test is undertaken about the mechanism of movement authority generation under multiple scenarios through the simulation platform.The main work in this paper includes:(1)The functional requirements and system structure of RBC are abstracted according to the RBC Technical Specifications.On the basis of them,the overall design is made for the RBC simulation platform.And then,the theoretical analysis is made about the MA generation which is the core function of RBC.The mathematical constraints are derived for the MAs under various operation scenarios,such as level switching,RBC handover,temporary speed restriction,MA extension and MA shortening.An algorithm is established to determine the end of authority.The generation conditions of MAs constitute the basis of simulation and testing for the simulation platform.(2)In this paper,the static and dynamic models are built for the RBC simulation platform through UML.First,the case and class diagrams are employed to make the static analysis of the simulation platform,and the attributes and methods of the classes are designed for the platform,which lays the basis for the development of the platform main interfaces and other additional ones.Then,the dynamic models are developed for the operation scenarios,such as train startup and registration,temporary speed restriction,operation level switching and RBC handover.The message response mechanism is expounded under different operation scenarios.The development of background programs for the simulation platform is accomplished based on the sequence and timing diagrams.(3)Finally,the RBC simulation platform is tested according to the different operation scenarios of high-speed trains to observe whether the simulated RBC can generate MAs properly and control trains to run safely on railway lines.The scenarios include train startup and registration,MA generation,operation level switching,temporary speed limit and RBC handover,etc.The simulation results show that the developed approaches to generate MAs can guarantee the safe and efficient operations of trains within or between stations.The simulation platform can fulfill the specific functions of operational scenarios,and has a good dynamic demonstration effect.
