With the rapid development of high-speed logistics industry,national regulations on emissions become increasingly stringent,energy conservation significance.In general,In general,about two-thirds of the fuel consumption is used for the vehicle's own weight,and the tonnage of the vehicle is heavier,usually about one-third of the total mass.Therefore,the body lightweight for the general trend,it not only can save energy and reduce emission,but also can solve the problem of overloading.By means of this project the company is developing lightweight axle housing projects,under the same load axle wall thickness from 14 mm reduced to 11 mm.Use of finite element analysis and optimization of stamping analysis software,to identify the thin wall thickness of stress concentration points and dangerous position.Combined with advanced foreign experience in the design,a variety of programs designed to optimize the analysis,choose the best program trial.The structure of axle housing assembly is more complex,from the half shell to complete the processing required a total about 29 processes,each process may affect the axle housing fatigue life.The welding process and the machining process of the bridge shell are also important factors affecting the fatigue life of the axle housing.However,the finite element analysis will simplify the part of the constraints.Therefore,the immature products must be tested on bench test.Bench test is to verify the product design,each round of trial and error to conduct a comprehensive analysis to find fault fracture factors,and gradually improve.The lightweight axle housing also experienced three rounds of trial production,each round of trial production from different angles to identify problems and solve the problem.At the same time,we summed up that the inside and outside round angle of the axle housing should transit smoothly,the axle housing welding heat affected zone,Accessories,axle housing and accessories of the flatness and roughness are the impact of axle housing fatigue life of the important factors.
