The wheel Loader of the stamping and welding axle housing was one of the main components of the loader.Its excellent performance directly impacted the weight-carrying ability and security of the loader.Compared with the traditional casting structure,the integral axle housing forming by steel plate stamping and wielding had a good advantage and had been widespread use of automobile,engineering machinery.The performance of axle housing mainly depended on its mechanical property.Researches about mechanical property of axle housing Forming by steel plate stamping and wielding of the loader are far from perfect.The novel the stamping and welding axle housing was investigated in this paper,its mechanical property was studied,and good achievements were made.Welding place was taken as an independent part in this issue.The three-dimensional model of the stamping and welding axle housing was built by SolidWorks.Statics simulations analysis,vibration modal analysis and harmonic response analysis were done by ANSYS Workbench under typical working conditions,and results of these analyses showed that the strength and stiffness of this axle housing meet the requirements of different kinds of working condition.Resonance effect was avoided under the constraint condition that the low-order frequencies range is between 249Hz-992Hz.When frequency of load was identical with natural frequency of this axle housing,resonance effect would occur,and the response displacement of the dangerous position in this axle housing would increase quickly.It would have seriously effects on fatigue rupture working life of this axle housing,though contrast analysis,the strain of welding place could not be ignored,and it might be the beginning of the fatigue damage.When the loader was in practical working process,the fatigue rupture of the stamping and welding axle housing was caused by that by great dynamic stress that caused by the road random excitation.Therefore,the finite element displacement method was used to analysis this axle housing,the stamping and welding axle housing body was substituted to elbow elements for this analysis,the dynamics equation of the stamping and welding axle housing was built,and time-domain and Frequency-domain response graph of this axle housing under the road random excitation were obtained,areas that most likely to lead to the most susceptible to fatigue damage were found.
