Navigational Warning Information Processing And Presentation Technology Based On ECDIS

With the development of computer technology and board-shore communication technology,e-navigation has been promoted vigorously on a worldwide scale.The 95th Session of the IMO Maritime Safety Committee held on June 3,2015 adopted six specific items of e-navigation,where the fifth item is to formulate the draft guideline of shipborne communication equipment navigation information coordinate display.The main goal of the draft is to synthetically display the effective information that the shipboard communication equipment has received on ECDIS.As an important part of maritime safety information,navigational warning information is closely related to the safety of navigation.It can improve the safety of navigation that navigational warning information,together with other navigation information is shown on the ECDIS.At present,At present,navigational warning information is broadcast through the form of message,which is received and printed on board the ship,and then plotted on the paper chart by the seamen,which is not only time-consuming and strenuous,but also can result in safety accidents if the vital navigation safety information not handled in a timely matter.In this regard,this paper provides a data structure and classification standard of navigational warning information as well as a set of solution on the display of navigational warning information on ECDIS.Specifically,based on the data structure of navigational warning information and two aspects of ECDIS,this paper studies the content of navigational warning information and its display characteristics on the chart,modeling through the S-100 modeling standards and UML language;and then designs the display symbol library according to the type and characteristics of navigational warning information to enhance navigational warning information display;the last to develop a navigational warning information processing and display system which achieves the release of information,storage,state management and realizes the information superimposed display on ECDIS.It can not only automatically display the warning information received by ship itself,providing a variety of display methods,but also providing a navigational warning message buffer setting function.
