With the development of Internet of things,cloud computing,big data and other technologies and its application in the field of shipping,inland waterway shipping information and intelligence have developed rapidly in China.Intelligent service has become a new trend of shipping development.Service on demand is the core of intelligent service,which means acquiring users' demands timely and accurately is the basis to provide high quality services for them.This paper studied information service of inland ships from the perspective of demand.Firstly,based on the research status and the system architecture of intelligent service,proposed the research framework of inland ship information service demands identification.Then,analyzed and summarized the information service demands of inland ships,and studied the identification method of service time and identification algorithm of service demand.Finally,put forward the classified-serving method for different ships,as well as established the identification model of ship service level.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Establishment of information service portfolios for inland ships.Put forward the concept of information service portfolios for inland ships.On the basis of e-navigation demands analysis,inland VTS service guidelines and surveys on information service demands of inland ships,established six information service portfolios,totally fifty-nine service items for inland ships.(2)Research on identification method of service time and identification algorithm of service demand.Proposed two identification methods of service time:based on distance and based on service level and cycle.Analyzed the needed characteristic parameters to identify service time.Put forward the concept of virtual object and studied the methods to determine the safe distance,the distance between ship and object and the service cycle.In addition,with five representative service items from the service portfolios,designed the identification algorithm of service demand according to the above two identification methods of service time.(3)Construction of the identification model of inland ship service level based on BP neural network.Applied the idea of classification into information service for different ships and classified the information service items correspondingly.Formed the feature index system of ship service level after analyzing influence factors of ship service level.Using the sample data of ships sailing at Nanjing waterway in Yangtze River,constructed the identification model of inland ship service level based on BP neural network.In the end,tested and verified the identification model.The results show that the model is feasible and effective.The research findings on information service demands of inland ships in this thesis are essential components of the system architecture of intelligent service for inland ships,which have great theoretical significance and practical value to realize the demand oriented inland waterway shipping intelligent information service,to improve the efficiency of information service,to ensure the navigation safety,energy saving and environmental protection of inland ships.
